Elta 8883 Divx+AC3 perfect playback....is it possible?

Hi,
i 've tried many settings with ac3 interleave to gind a way to have
a perfect playback in my home divx pplayer elta 8883.

But...no results....
Avimux is not useful in this case.....
Alexnoe ....hehe.....help me again! ;-)

the video is 704x304 and audio 384kb Ac3.
....
I've setted preload and interleave at 160 (virtualdubmod).
Playback is good but....in some points....video and audio stutters...
i think because there are too much bitrate of video and audio!

Can you give more information on what DivX version / settings you used?

Try 96ms preload and 96ms interleave in Nandub or Vdubmod if the latest AviMux-Gui isn't working for you... another option is using 64ms preload and 64ms interleave. This forces the avi to be interleaved every AC3 frame (32ms). It makes a huge big difference for me when played off of slow media (CDR/DVDR). But I don't have a standalone to test it. Other standalone owners I know have been able to fix the problem you seem to be having using this method

Edit: specified what program this post is referring to and added a few possibly meaningless things.

I dont think anything from AVIMuxGUI works on elta 8883 (not in my experience anyway).

Are you burning to CD or DVD?

Anything should work if you disable "make REC lists". (and use the latest version)
Also, from my tests interleave settings are not important with standalones.
But it seems the elta does not like high bitrates from cd.
