Doom9 posts more links for DivX capable 'standalones'

Well it seems things have not been standing still in the DivX standalone market, as Doom9 posted links for a couple of players. One of which is even supposed to record!

For more info on thethe Lafayette MediaReady 4000 player visit: -
http://www.cacmedia.tv/products/products.html

And for more info on the Diva 489, a DVD/DivX/WMV9 recorder visit: -
http://www.aeon-digital.com/

The website info is a little sparse but eagle eyed viewers will spot the 'Polaroid' badge on the player (after opening the rather poor PDF file). Don't know what that is all about then!

On a different note. Has anybody found out what's happening with Philips's coder/encoder chipset? 'Eee gods, maybe it's in the Diva 489'!

Cheers

EDIT: Diva have changed their PDF file info
