Tool for analyse Interlace/Telecine on AVI ?

Hello, friends,

I'd like to know if anybody knows any tool, any software which could analyse an AVI file and make a report of the kind of Interlace or Telecine it has. Some movies are made either Telecined , or Interlaced on some parts and I'd like to know what parts are interlaced, what parts are telecined, and if possible, another tool for detect these changes and correct the script automatically.
I've learnt to use the Telecide command from Avisynth script, thanks to a celleague from here, is there a better toold for this ?
To analyse and Kill Interlace and Telecine of captured movies?

Thanks in advance.

If you've not read through this already, take a look at this tutorial.
