what's the right way to extract pcm audio?

a month ago i asks for help on how to convert pcm -> wav, after a couple of suggestion, nothing worked (what a waste of time encoding) and then LigH told that the file was corrupted (maybe due to how i extract the file [DVD Decrypter]); later i red that someone also had the same problem.

now, there's probably a chance that i will get another dvd with pcm audio (or someone might just ask the same question) and i'm wondering, is there a right or wrong way to extract the audio?
