Hi i have a stupid question , i hope u or another people could answer me.I develop a prog an i use besweet for downsample .ac3 file to a .mp3 i want use profil, (most of them found on the hydrogenaudio forum) could u say me if there are correct for the bitrate wanted.

i know there is the new alt preset but i cant have the right bitrate if for exemple i use - alt preset insane (=~ 320 kbt/s)

does this profils are corrects and the best for the low bitrate (i need low bitrate for exemple when i use 2 streams in a movie file)?

You can try though:

--alt-preset 128
or
--alt-preset 160
etc.

yes for the abr i could use this but after reading this :

it seems to me
"--abr 128 -h --nspsytune --athtype 2 --lowpass 16 --ns-bass -8 --scale 0.93"

will perhaps give a better result instead of :

--alt-preset 128
(this is synonymous with --abr 128 -h --nspsytune --athtype 2 --lowpass 17.5 --ns-bass -6 --scale 0.93)

but i will do some tests

if you don't like to use the predefined alt-preset, you'd need to use BeSweet v1.3b12 .
