Fixing timecodes / repair damaged mkv

Hello,

i have a damaged mkv which is around 2 hrs.
I can play it with VLC player up to the middle and then VLC freezes.
I tried every program there is. mkvmerge, avidemux, MKVcleaver to fix anything, but with no luck.

There are timecode errors, how can I fix them and is it possible?
