looking for the format of VOB files
I am thinking about writting a tool for cutting VOB files, but before I can start anything, I need more info on the format of the VOB files.
I am looking for how the 2048 bytes blocks are broken down, what IDs are used for what, how the video and audio and subtitles are synced, ect... any good links to technical info would be greatly appreciated. thanks |

VOB info
You can peek at
http://members.aol.com/mpucoder/DVD/index.html Non authorative, but most certainly accurate enough for writing a splitter. For authorative information, you can pay $5000.00 for a serial numbered copy of the DVD spec and when you want an updated version, you have to return your current copy with the matching serial number first.
