Scenarist BD 5.1 Can`t Rebuild!

Hi,All!
I have a new problems!

I demux from an existing disc,

1.Drag the primary video stream to scenarist BD 5.1.
2.Build a movie clip
3.Drag this clip to playlist.
4.Build title and drag playlist to here
5.MUX start
6.Error!

I am very sure the problem is that video stream...
How to do it?
thanks!

What is the error you are getting? What version of 5.1 are you using?

Does Scenarist just say 'Error!'? In the 'Result' or 'External' window it usually gives you a detailed explanation of why it failed, that would help figure out what the problem is...

Your pictures finally showed up... Not sure what the deal was, but I couldn't see them or download them, they weren't even clickable links...

You have a buffer underflow in the video file, it's not spec compliant. That's why Scenarist is rejecting it. The original disc was probably created with a software package that doesn't check the assets for spec compliance. Your only option, if you want to use Scenarist, is to re-encode the video and try to get a proper stream.

What disc is this from?

Heh, oops, didn't even look at that...

Hmm, wouldn't expect a studio title to have this problem, but it also wouldn't be the first time I've seen it happen... It would be interesting to see if it would mux in Scenarist 4.5. They may have increased the detail of the spec compliance in the 5.x version... We don't even get the movie until next week (in the US), so I can't try it until then.

I demux from an existing disc,
It can drag to 4.2/4.3/4.5,but can`t be rebuild, see upload picture!
It can`t drag to 5.0/5.1! tips: Error : The picture is not encoded as multi-slice picture with 4 or more slices per picture in case of Level 4.1.(Slice:1)
So,I try to re-encode the video and get a proper stream.
Then,It can drag to 4.2/4.3/4.5/5.0/5.1,But it is still can`t be rebuild!

What did you use to re-encode it?

I'll be getting the US version of Van Helsing on Tues... I'll try it with that, it'll be interesting to see if they used the exact same video for both releases... Is it the feature you are trying to re-do?

Why are you re-doing it, anyway? Would something like tsMuxer work better? If you just want the video to play on a BD player, tsMuxer might work for you...

I think maybe he's trying to reauthor the disc from the HD-DVD version of this movie.

Do you need the PiP? tsMuxer can remove the PiPs and create a playable stream (if you don't want them, that is...)

I got the US version of the movie, demuxed it and tried it in Scenarist 5.1.2 (not using 5.1.3 just yet), and I couldn't make it import either. It gets all the way to 99% of the MUI creation, and then fails with an error (not the same error you got, something about 'DTS' at the end of the file (note- DTS is not referring to the audio, it stands for something video-encode related, but I forget what...) This isn't the first time I've seen Scenarist fail to accept a file from a replicated disc (even the DVD version of Scenarist would do this sometimes)...

I'm going to try it in 4.5.3 just for laughs, see if I get different results. Sometimes you just can't make it work, not sure why.
