NeroAacEnc and delay added during encoding
When encoding AC3 there's a small delay value (~10ms) added to the audio by default. This can be canceled with -pad 0 option in aften.
I wonder if the same happens in AAC encoding and especially with NeroAacEnc, which i use. |

Because i thought it's a feature of all encoders, like ac3 encoders.
For me it's 10,66ms in aften. Tebashuna51 also have said that's 5,33ms. Maybe another 5,33ms are added when decoding? I compare original wav and wav -->ac3-->wav and i always find it 10,66ms. |

I'll try with libav as decoder This means that NeroAacEnc doesn't add any delay... Quote:
It seems to me that nero dshow decoders add some delay. Last edited by nautilus7; 16th January 2009 at 23:53. |
