Can't Export Audio in VBR Mode?

I get an error message when trying to do an MPEG-2 VBR export from Premiere 5.1c with the 2.62SP plugin....

"Cinemacraft can't export audio when you selected VBR."

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

MN

nothing.. the plugin just doesn't allow it.. but cce's audio encoding capabilities are sub par anyways.

Then how do you export MPEG-2 VBR with audio using CCE? In other words, how do you make VBR work with CCE?

Rip the audio to a WAV file and then use wav2mp, or tooLame to encode it to MP2 format and remux it using bbMpeg. Personally I use the standalone CCE SP frameserved by the Premiere videoserver plugin. Premiere will do the extract to WAV, encode, split and remux for you.
