DVD to .mpeg work video
My work took video of a machine and had a local company make a dvd of it. Now I want to take the video and make an mpeg. It's not copyrighted or anything just a simple video. I think the want it for website or something. What can I use to convert it to mpeg or other if need be?

@paragon
Hi! How about re-reading (part) of the thread you started in June 2005?: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.ph...405#post964405 |

I re-read that post. I was only grabbing photos at that time. I don't see how that applies to grabbing video? I could be wrong though. Maybe it does the same thing and I don't see it. All I know is someone used a cam to video a running piece of equipment and had a local company make a professional dvd of it. Now I have the dvd and they want a mpeg of it. Like I said I'm not certain the original applies.
Update: On a whim I ran TMGPEnc and it gives an output of .m1v? Can I just rename that to mpeg or mpg? Last edited by Paragon; 13th January 2008 at 04:22. |
