Uncompressed UYVY 422 8bit

Hi everybody,

i found in my Adobe Premiere Elements 3 program the above mentioned video codec, my question is if this is a general codec which is installed with windows xp or program specific.

I also can't found detailed information for this codec, is there any documentation? Does anybody use this, what are your experiences?

most pro capture cards will grab in either this format or a 10-bit version.

it's exactly the same as "blackmagic 8 bit".

this is the native format of blackmagic designs cards, or bluefish cards, or AJA cards.
