Record PowerDVD's playback to file?

My question is simple... Is there a way to record or save to a file, the playback of PowerDVD. Like when I play a video in PowerDVD it plays better on there than on ANY other player i've found because of the filters it has, etc etc. So that playback output i want to save as a file so I can replay it in some other player and it plays in that nice, smooth, playback that PowerDVD outputted. I tried a screen recorder (stupidly) and of course it didn't record the video playback itself.

Any ideas is this even possible?
