Problems Using BeSweet

Hi ,

its quite some time since I last time i was here.
But now I want to change some steps in my ripping routines and have come to the point to use BeSweet.

After following doom9`s guide ac3->mp3 (actually i want to do lst->wave-mp3) I hit the button to start the conversation there is only a small dosbox flashing for an instant saying some stuff about lame and so on and initialising. Furthermore is there any way to select the audio stream ? Its always 0x80 and the box is grayed out.

Any Help ?

Viruz

PS: Im using Win2k

a. what was the command the gui used ?
b. try using the same command on command-prompt mode and check for the error message.
c. substeram id is only relevant for VOBs.

actually... what you should do is answer to the questions dspguru asked you... with the info you've given it's impossible to determine where the problem lies

Thats all.

Oh one more thing BeSweet Works (at least a bit) when i use the gui but when i use excact the same comandline in the dos box i get this.

BeSweet do accepts a list with vobs.
it seems it didn't find the file names within the list. please upload this list someplace and give me the link.
you could also try to encode only the second vob with BeSweet and see if the problem is with bbDMUX or with the list handling.

another suggestion, use this command in dos-prompt :
"C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Mighty Hans 2001\Desktop\DVD\BeSweet v0.9\BeSweet.exe" -core( -input "h:\unripped\little nicky\video_ts\little_nicky.lst" -output "h:\little_nicky1.wav" -wavmp3 ) -azid( -z1 -b1 -g 6db -L -3db ) -ssrc( ) -boost( /b=5 /l=0.95 ) -lame( -m j -b 160 )

Quote:
Input : h:\unripped\little nicky\video_ts\vts_01
you might wanna know that BeSweet handle files according to their extension, so if you use file without extensions this could lead to problems.

I don't know why the results are different when using the GUI ... DanniDin ?

Ok here is list :

h:\unripped\little nicky\video_ts\VTS_01_1.VOB
h:\unripped\little nicky\video_ts\VTS_01_2.VOB
h:\unripped\little nicky\video_ts\VTS_01_3.VOB
h:\unripped\little nicky\video_ts\VTS_01_4.VOB
h:\unripped\little nicky\video_ts\VTS_01_5.VOB

(I don't have any place to upload to)

Changing the Comandline According to your advice gives the same error.

Im trying just vob2 now ...

**** Update ****

After trying vob2 only it just crashes as described in the other post.
Encodes like 400kbyte then crashes.

hi ViRuZ !
so, as you can see, the problem is with bbDMUX that crashes with the second vob.
for now i can only suggest you to follow the guides and to input BeSweet only AC3 files.
