x264 (mkv) to xvid?
Hi all,
I have a few x264 (1280x720) videos that I would like to convert to xvid so I can test the compatability with my Zensonic Z500. The Zensonic does not support the x264 AVC profile, (nor h264 I don't think). I would like to keep the resolution the same. I tried AutoGK, but that doesn't support mkv file types. Is there a good way to do this? (I know the quality will probably go down unless I keep a pretty high bitrate...at the moment, that is of little concern). Thanks in advance! |

I just downloaded megui, and made the most simple avisynth script I could think of:
DirectShowSource("d:\video.mkv") When I open this with Media Player Classic it says there is no video stream. Same with opening it in VDubMod. Any ideas? I'm sure I just need to install some sort of codec or something? I can play the x264 file just fine on my computer though. |
