bluray key finder
since janvitos and jokin have provided some info, i modified my hddvd key finder to search for bluray keys.
i don't have a drive so i haven't tested this yet, but it should work. update: janvitos has confirmed it works. update jan 22: fixed some wildcards in the search string binary: http://glib.name/bdkeyfinder.zip http://mihd.net/ibjn6d source (still a mess): http://glib.name/bdkeyfinder_src.zip Last edited by ape; 23rd January 2007 at 05:10. |

No. The very first released software players had the insecurity that they expose the decrypted keys in memory in plain sight. Since then all players have been secured so that this almost 3 years old process doesn't work for about 2,5 years now...
Edit: After taking a closer look at my harddisk i discovered that WinDVD 8 was one of the very first players, so at least with that version it should work (at least with the initial version of it, later updates may not work). ![]() Last edited by KenD00; 13th October 2009 at 01:50. |

![]() BDKeyfinder is a tool for "stealing" original player keys from proprietary BluRay players. And it only worked with old/weak players that have been revoked long ago ![]() As MPlayer is an OpenSource project, you wouldn't need a tool to steal any keys from MPlayer. You'd simply read the from the sources as plain text ![]() But of course a Non-proprietary player would never get valid BluRay keys from AACS LA, because it completely contradicts the concept of "secret" player keys ![]() |
