Ok, when the new release is up I'll take a look. I'm in the middle of a different test right now and will take me about 10 minutes to get back to that configuration when I'm done.

My test was to check the latest realtek driver. It is not suitable for bitstreaming with ffdshow. This totally blows because in order to properly use my TMT2/bit perfect audio support/ReClock, I need the realtek driver so I can set it to 32 bit when using WASAPI excl mode. Just shoot me.

Receiver did nothing again, but, at least I could connect it in my graph now.

Same results as Beta 24. No sound, no bitstream detection by receiver and GraphStudio hang on attempting to stop playback.

No longer hangs GraphStudio, but, still no change on the receiver side. It doesn't even notice that we're sending anything to it.

TrueHD crashes GraphStudio now, though.

It didn't crash graphstudio for me. It just didn't do anything at all, really.

Actually, even decoded PCM audio crashes graphstudio with this version of the renderer so it could be that mine is attempting to fall back to decoded audio after the format is refused and yours is not (since the format is accepted).

OK I found a big bug which explains all the regressions

Here is the new build

@mrcorbo : unlike SamuriHl, your audio driver refuse the truehd media type

I'm watching a movie with my son right now but as soon as it's over in a couple hours I'll try it and get back to you with logs.
