Cant get 4 speaker AC3 playback....

I am running WinXp and have a soundblaster live (with the new xp driver installed) and I cannot get the intervideo filter to give me the 4 speaker mode option (it is always greyed out). I have tried windvd, bplayer, and powerdivx and even though I specify the 4 speaker downmix mode as default, when I load an ac3 encoded divx and goto to filter properties, the 4 speaker mode is once again greyed out and Im stuck with 2 channel audio. I have went to the control panel to verify that I am indeed in 4 speaker mode and I have successfully played a dvd in windvd 4 speaker mode just no luck with an ac3 divx

Any help Much ApprecIated
