SSRC question

Hi,
I was wondering if when i change the sample rate from 48k to 44.1k in ssrc i should also use a dither, and if yes, which is the best one (in quality means).

Thanks and br,
Sebastian

... whenever possible use 24 bit or even better 32 bit handling ( BeSweet is ideal as there are no intermediate WAV files produced using several GB's HD space, get it from Doom9 downloads ) by setting the appropriate output option in Azid when decoding the AC3 to WAV. Dithering is not necessary then.

When converting existing 16 Bit WAVs from 48 KHz to 44.1 KHz i am sorry i cant give you any precise recommendations because the documentation of how SSRC will apply dithering is a bit poor .... but i was using the program a lot and cant report about any problems, even if no dithering was used ...
