Burning DVD audio???

I know that this is somewhat off topic...but it does concern DVD media! Does anyone know how to burn MP3 files converted by Roxio to a DVD, so it can play on a stand-alone DVD player?

My CDs play OK on my DVD player, and my MP3s converted by Roxio, burned to a CD play
OK on my CD player, but get a 'disc error' on my DVD player.

As with copying DVDs with DVDshrink, and using InfoEdit
to reset the pointers, so that the burned DVD will play on a stand-alone DVD player, do I need to do something to my converted MP3s, so that they will play on my DVD player?

Hi!

Not all standalone players are capable of playing .MP3 files from a DVD. You can probably find out if yours is capable by reviewing the documentation that came with the player...

Isn't this the same question you asked in this thread, one that was closed for breaking rule #6?

Most assuredly, this is a blatant revival of the thread I closed less than 24 hour before this one hit the board--minus the reference to downloaded material.

@setarip--I find it highly unlikely that you were unaware of the previous thread that was closed but still residing on the first page of the Newbies Forum. Take care, this is but another example of irresponsible/provocative action on your part.

Thread closed.
