lucas copy protection

Hi,
I am trying to make a backup of my copy of St*rWars,Empirestrikesback. During DVD playback a text message comes on screen with the word "lucas" or "kershner" every couple minutes. Obviously a copywrite discourager. I tried using both the latest versions of Decrypter and Shrink but allas, no luck. It is only doing this with this episode, other movies in the series are backed up fine.
Any suggestions? Thank you.

Hi!

When playing, try selecting a different audiostream with your remote. It sounds like you've selected the "Directors' Commentary" audiostream...

Or he's managed to turn on a subtitle stream that belongs with the Director's Commentary audio track. Just turn it off.

It's possible that he removed or otherwise messed with the subs streams, so that the sub stream for the Director's Commentary is now the Alien Languages sub stream. I'll bet the different sub streams are messed up in other ways as well.

Obviously a copywrite discourager.

Hardly. I'm betting on user error.

And welcome to the forum, angharad.
