Ripping Guide

I'm sure that somewhere in this forum I came across a guide for combining two rips and shrinking them on to one dvd. Unfortunately I didn't bookmark the guide and now cannot find it.
Help please

It's a heck of a lot easier if you have DVDRemake Pro:

http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepro/ht_merge_full.php

Neither of those will shrink it to fit, though. You'll have to use other methods to do that, either before or after joining. DVD Shrink can do it as well, but you'll lose the menus.
