Windows Media Player Problem!
Hi there!
First of all, sorry for the common question... (After many years I should know /)Anyway, I'm having a problem with WMP 9 on WinXP SP2: When I put a normal audio CD in my drive, automatically the WMP start to copy the music files to wma on my HD... then I have to cancel the copy process and start the playback manually. I've looked in the WMP settings and I did not find anything to set off that copy process. Is there a way to change that, I just want to, automatically, play my CDs with WMP, not copy them! Greetings!

Does it begin to copy as soon as you insert the CD, or not until you launch WMP and try to play it? If it's the former, right-click your CD-drive under My Computer and select Properties, then click the Auto Play tab. Select Music CD, and select something other than "Rip music from CD."
