Use VStrip instead
,i.e. vstrip thevob.vob -!dosound.ac3 0xbd 0x80 (assuming 0x80 is the number of the stream you want) (will either be 0x80 or just a bit higher 0x81, 0x82, etc. ...will output to Sound.ac3) However, with graphedit try: File Source (ASync) MPEG-2 Splitter or Ligos MPEG Splitter A Dump filter (probably comes with Graphedit from Doom9's download or download AviEnc 0.2 off the download site (definitely has bindump.ax) This may work, but haven't tried it. -Nic |

AC3 Rip from single vob u/ graphedit
Hi Nic,
Iīve tried it with graphedit but the resulting file coulnīt be processed with azid/lame. So maybe there are more filters needed, eg. is there a filter like AC3 Dest (similar to wavDest)? Or maybe graphedit doesnīt write a AC3 header? Got an idea? I will also try vstrip, but I havenīt got the original DVD structure anymore, just this single vob. Greetings HK |

Its better with just the single vob (at least thats how I do it)
Just try the commandline specified & see if it works ok... ![]() -Nic ps There is no AC3 Dest, I dont know why it didn't work, try VStrip GUI as well, with & without the AC3 header (??? Dont know what that is but it works best without for me......
