Just a question: is it open source ?
If so, where's the source code ?

Do you think you could add PMP-AVC support in the next version? It uses a different muxer I think.

still not at this moment. My programming skill is so bad, and the coding is a mess, not the time to release publicly now. This program is written by Autoit, similiar to vb, and easy to build GUI.

bitrate calc is not top priority right now.
The first thing to do is add quality encoding mode in additional to bitrate mode.

I don't have PSP firmware 1.5 and cannot do testing.

In fact, a few chinese forum already add PMP-AVC support to winmenc. At least you have a patched version mencoder, a corresponding winmenc profile, and pmp muxer.

I may refer their information here later.

Here is the winmenc package with patched mencoder,
which can produces PMP-AVC format. Since the package
is targeted for chinese, you have to open winmenc.ini,
and modify the line with "SysLang" as "SysLang=english".

In next version it can support unicode, it will be more easy to add other language support. Anyone is interested to translate the english version to your local language? Please let me know. Thx

Is it standard for anything that is outputted using the mp4.bat or psp.mp4.bat etc to be 25fps? No matter what I select it always comes out in 25fps.

Edit: It turns out it was BSPlayer giving me erroneous readings.

could you tell about the video settings under the video tab if you click quality instead of bitrate?

Thanks

Is this project stopped?

I love that app, I`ve just encoded about 20 films, without any Problem, but as bratao mentioned, sometimes you need script and than encoding slows down 100%. Can`t understand the reason.

I`m also interested in the settings of quality.

Tom

I don't think it has stopped just that Yawoo is chinese and really only posts here when he has done an update. If you check it was nearly a year between his post.

@wam7

Thanks for the Answer.

I´ve just found the chinese Forum, but my Chinese is ....

Hope, he will not stop to work on this application. To me the best GUI for mencoder. If there would bei a function, to join two files after encoding, would be great. Joining in Aviscript doesn´work all the times.
