DivX Settings Manager

How to totally disable the DivX settings manager in the system tray ?

Mods pls move this thread to the DIvX forum, by mistake it cam here, also the XviD builds are very bad at chooosing the supported four cc's for decoding no proper indication, the reset also doesn not work properly.

You can block it by process. Use RegEdit to add the process names here:

HKLM\Software\DivXNetworks\DivX\SMExclusions

Thanks will try it out, since you are the DivX guy here I wanted to ask you a favor, XviD is open source and all the data regarding compiling and all that is freely available, can't you make t such that DivX will be able to fully decode XviD encoded movies.

P.S. Just a suggestion, and regarding an XviD issue in DivX section, it's here bcos I want DivX to decode XviD,like XviD can decode DivX.

It should. If you have clips that aren't decoded correctly feel free to send me an e-mail at amayo [at] divxcorp (dot) com and we can work out a way for you to send me sample material.

Hi,

DigitAl56K, Actually after the 6.1 update it decodes perfectly, earlier in the 6.0 even after selecting the support other MPEG4 formats it sometimes was not able to decode some XviD files. Now it's working perfectly, if I ever have any troubles, will trouble you
