Premiere Pro preview fullscreen on 2nd monitor?

I know there's not much hope I can do this with my hardware, but I'm still asking ("hope dies last" as we say in Germany, LOL)

Is there an option to get the preview window in Premiere Pro on my second monitor (tv), in fullscreen?

I am usually using the small preview window on my main monitor because when I connect the IEEE 1394 camcorder as a preview device then I get a certain lag between video and the timeline (the timeline marker and the preview are not in sync which makes it pretty unusable for most editing tasks except final control-viewing)

I got the idea of a full-screen preview on my second monitor at work where we have a G5 with a Black Magic DeckLink Extreme video card. It seems it's configured just like a normal second monitor but Final Cut Pro automatically outputs the contents of the preview window on the second monitor in full screen. Probably this is due to special abilities of the DeckLink card - any chance I could do this with Premiere Pro and my Radeon 9600XT??

OR: Could I do this with Avid XPress Pro, without the need for a special video editing card? (I guess this is even more hopeless because Avid seems to need special hardware for everything...)

ATI (and I'm sure nVidia) cards allow you to get overlay cloned to a 2n TV / monitor (optionally with overscan

). But here comes the problem I think Premiere is not using overlay all the time.
To check it out:
Connect your 2nd TV / Monitor and turn it on.
Open an avi file in MediaPlayer, rightclick desktop -> properties -> Settings -> Advanced -> Displays - enable the 2nd device. Select Clone.
Under Overlay click on Theater Mode options (or so?) and select Theater mode / Full Screen Video / and your aspect ration (4:3 / 16:9).

It should now show the content of MediaPlayer as full screen on the 2nd display. If Premiere uses overlay aswell this should work too.

i think overlay blinks out as soon as you touch the timeline.
