Adobe Premiere 6.5- clipping in mixed audio
I have few audio tracks in my video and after mixing them, resulting audio from one track has clipping - but source WAV hs no that problem.
I didn0t touche anything - nor gain, volume, anything - audio is exactly like it was imported! Anbody knows how to solve this? Also, if I put loud part on a timeline - part that start with loud sound and not gradually from silence (like scream or gunshot), audio in resulting exported file has annoying click at the beginning of this sound. I can remove this later using soundforge and some filters but how to prevent this annoying click/clipping in Premiere? |

I don't know what causes the click noises, but they also appear sometimes in Final Cut Pro. There you can avoid them by adding a very short audio dissolve (~ 3 frames) at the beginning. You don't hear the dissolve, but the clicking sound goes away. Dunno if this works in Premiere, but it's worth a try.
