I think it is time to start this project from scratch...
Next version I'm preparing is going to get all the compatibility achieved by multiAVCHD (except HD-DVD), without the menu part and having the output split to as many DVDs/USBs/SDHCs as one may want. Dean |

A quick note for the users of popBD - as I posted back in september, it is now possible to split an output to many volumes (1000 is a good number I think), but not in popBD.
I was spending some time this afternoon, thinking how to implement the cool popBD feature into multiAVCHD... And I did it... multiAVCHD now supports splitting the output up to 1000 volumes. What does it mean? It means that you can use multiAVCHD as you did before, but if you use only ONE file ([f] mode) or playlist ([m] / [p] modes or DVD title [d] or Audio title [a]) you'll get the option to split the output in volumes. It will be available in build 732. Last edited by deank; 23rd February 2010 at 12:41. |

hi deank and others, i was linked to this thread while searching on the best way to do this..
I have a bluray burner and BDR25GB discs, dual layers are still pricey. I have only 1080P MKVs I want to burn 2 of these MKVs on 1 BD25 disc so they are compatible with ps3 and other bluray players Is your software the best bet to do this task. I only always read about people burning them on DVDs. If my files are complaint 1920 x 1080p there is no encoding involved? thanks in advance. |

I'd suggest that you use multiAVCHD. It supports VOLUME SPLITTING (for up to 1000 volumes) and won't reencode your files.
Set the SPLIT size to 23000 in the AUTHOR tab and once you click 'START' you'll see an option for volume splitting. |
