Didn't find anyonw that was able to play AVC and AC3 in bluray format. Maybe there something tricky int he authoring pass.

did someone try Encode CS3 ? DVDit pro HD don't output AVC, only mpeg2

If you have a software (can be demo or trial) send me a PM and I'll test it.

There should be a new release of Scenarist 4.5 and Rhozet Coder 3 in september.. maybe that will help.

You can use TSRemux to demux (Rt click on the stream). xport is another option.

@Holllydoc
I have all tracks extracted, notice that I have Video, Audio and other (like 10) tracks of a type I cant remember right now, the name has something to do with graphics, I think they are menus parts.

Can you tell me the steps to remux them *ALL* in MP2TSME ?
Back home I'll get a screenshot of tsremux tracks list and post it if you want.

Thanks

The 10 other tracks are Subtitles. In MP2TSME i try the folowing Steps:

-New project
-Video and audio per drug and drop
- PESaliggn yes by Video and audiosetting
- Change framerate by videosettings from auto to 23.976 if the tracks from a bluray

-muliplex

The *.ts is 2-3 bigger then sorce
*.ts > TSRemux > Ts or M2ts this step is nessesary for correct size

same problem here, but i'm using xmuxer pro and tsremux to mux. the sound never works with AVC .. don't know why.

I'm trying Encore CS3.. will see if I'm able to get farther.

H264 HDTV Sat records from S*yUK can't be remuxed.
It's a TS File and if i load it into TSremuxer there is the AVC Video
Stream and two Audiostreams.
But the message NO PCR AVAILABLE appears and it's not possible to remux.

Any ideas how to fix the problem with the missing PCR ?

Regards , K40

gaps in frame num...

I'm not exactly sure why an encoder would want to use gaps_in_frame_num_value_allowed_flag = 1. It appears to be a way to exclude a picture from being a reference picture.

I derived the AVC through evo demux - i do not think a new version of scenarist will ignore this flag being set.

Does anyone have an idea how to clear that flag ?

As for AVC and blu-ray -i think 'chicken little' is avc on blu ray.

Hi all, to whom it may concern - I created a back-up in 2 parts on DVD+R DL UDF 2.6 with Tsremux 0.18.
The discs have AVC and AC3 and play fine on PS3.

I also checked a piece of the AVC in the authoring tool and it does not return above mentioned Flag being set.

hope this helps

As indicated, just with tsremux. But I tested authoring tool and i am convinced that it will work, since it didn't return the error reported earlier when using material from another source with evo demux.

AFAIK tsremux can't import avc & ac3 to mux them together. You need to import a muxed stream... mkv or m2ts/ts....

So what did you load into tsremux? Did you save an HDDVD stream (what format?) with evodemux and load it with tsremux to save it as a blu-ray structure (AVC+ac3)?

ok - just tested

demux clip from blu-ray ; avc and ac3 ; then mux ; then burn BD-RE this time. Plays fine on PS3 ; as said - when i take avc from HD-DVD i get error in authoring tool - ok ? check private mail for details

question to the experts

tsremux and mkv - i tried a 3 min clip ; it took about 20 min to load into tsremux.
by the way - it took about 1 hour to convert from m2v to mkv
per minute on an athlon 2600+ (1080p clip) - is that normal?
