ati capture 2 cut 2 svcd
I am able to capture and burn svcds.
I can't figure out what to use to cut the 3 gig svcd compliant file so I can burn svcds. I've thought of capturing at high quality and then inserting the file into the dvd2svcd process as a failed job. Any guides that might provide a clue as to the best avenue to take? Each forum gives me ideas but nothing specific.

All this is in some guides in the site, you could just look for them, but I will sumarize all here so you can do it faster:
- Open TMPGEnc, select File -> MPEG Tools - Select "simple demultiplex" - Open your file and demultiplex it to a .m2v and a .mp2 - Close TMPGEnc - Open BBMPEG - Select "Start encoding", "Settings" - in "Program stream settings", select SVCD and any other option you know is necessary - in "input and output files", press "open VS" to select your .m2v file, "open AS1" to select your .mp2 and "open PS" to select your final destination MPG file - in "general settings", in "Max size (MB)", select 793 if you want to use 80 min CDs or 733 if you want to use 74 min CDs - Press "Ok" - Press "Start" Wait and you will have some files named after your selected "PS" file, but with a numeric suffix (mifile_00.mpg, mifile_01.mpg and so on); each one will fit in a CD. |
