@pacaveli211

Maybe you'r right , but in my country are some well-known and specialized terms , used only by specialists.
Generally speaking , using a primitive language/terms , understood by some as " fragmented english " , we can accept that OS is what you've said .
But as I know , here is not a language meeting or a forum for linguistic mistakes , and nobody asked you to intervene and make grammatical corrections .
If you know to help that user ,OK , if no , pls , stand back and never put in question elsewhere.
I've noticed that you've become a Knowing, as Atak's lawyer, which is an awkward position, especially when you do not know anything and try to give advice, confusing people.
Next time better stay flexed in your "plaster'
Cheers !!

PS : Pls , do not bother to reply me , because I will ignore you totally !!!

pacaveli211 was correct, it was difficult to understand what you were implying and this has nothing to do with a "language forum" (as you so put it), just common sense. When you don't describe something to someone properly and use the proper terms, then there is a chance that they will either still not understand you or mess something up because you described it wrong. I've been reading these posts for quite sometime now and honestly, Benjyv, you have been rude, degrading, and unappreciative of the help people have tried to give you. It's OK if you go ahead and "ignore" this post but for someone who is not really technically inclined in this field, I think that you are the last one who should try to help someone, especially with the bad attitude and condescending tone that you bring to the board.

Oh, and in our country (as in most countries including most likely your own), you don't have to be a specialist to use well-known or specialized terms. People in this country are allowed to use any terms they like to.

With that said, Atak, thank you very much for this program. I've been enjoying it for quite sometime now and it works wonderfully. And also thank you to all of the other regular posters who really try to assist people without trying to make them feel stupid or ridiculed.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H.264/MPEG-4_AVC#Levels

MAIN 3.0 -> max. res. 720×480@30.0 or 720×576@25.0
Unfortunately PSP ignores --sar values in stream for some stupid reason

Angle question

Hi, I have a multi-angle movie (Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete).
I can't open the playlist file in RipBot, so I choose the first movie file, and RipBot automatically links all movie files, but it selects the movie files for the first angle...
Is there a way for me to choose which angle RipBot chooses?
Thanks for a really great app!

ugghh....benjyv, I wasn't trying to correct your grammar nor was I even trying to be insulting
I was only clarifying that win7x86 is in fact an operating system, something you didn't seem to understand

I have no idea what that's supposed to mean either....

anyways, I realize I don't always have the answers...but I do try to be helpful and have helped some people
I've even helped you a time or two...I'm sorry if you get confused easily though.
I can stop trying to help people if others would prefer so...
and as kenwheeler77 said...you're kinda the last person who should be on here trying to help people
even some of the very basic / simple stuff seems to be difficult for you

Brotoles, if it's a bluray with seamless branching you can change the playlist after ripbot has scanned the folders/bluray

Am I missing something obvious or does RipBot just not do chapter markers?
I can't really help with this as I don't have blu-ray.
Let's just hope someone who can help sees this.

Ran into a small problem today: Under picture properties, the extracted frame doesn't show up - it's just blank with Panel 1/2. It was working fine yesterday.

anyone else having audio out of sync in ripbot 1.16.3?

Not always but out of 5 files i re-encoded with 1.16.3 3 of them ended up with audio being out of sync.

this type of problem was rather uncommon with 1.16.2

it was .ts container.

and I have not checked a/v sync in preview, the computer that renders videos doesn't have speakers, is just a "render" box.

I will open ripbot on my main rig and check the preview.

a/v sync is ok when original video is played in WMP or PowerDVD.

recorded .ts could be damaged. Probably decoder during decoding droped some frames. Try this. change extension to .m2ts.(This will force remuxing to .mkv by eac3to)

but one of the files that resulted in a/v in ripbot later i encoded again in HDConvertToX 3.0 and there was no a/v issue.

I'm going to be building a new PC soon. Can anyone tell me which of the current crop of "i" chips, will RipBot see the most benefit from?

whatever is the best / fastest. x264 shouldn't be partial to anything
you can usually find benchmarks for x264 encoding if you google for them
here are a couple worth lookin at:
