Dual Layer-Opposite or Parallell in Scenarist....

Sup guys!
I wanted to know which one would be better, Opposite or Parallell on my dvd9 project? The project contains music videos.4-6 mins. long (each song, for each chapter). I know one of them has a delay about 0.5 sec in the middle and it has to do something with how the laser on the dvd player reads the layers on Parallel or Opposite. Well I can put the dual layer cut at end of a song (so it wouldn't be noticeable). right? ....So which one should I choose?
Thanks!
I'd appreciate your Advice!
