Problem with FFDshow Audio decoder

Hi guys,

I'm using MPC-HC with MadVR and ffdshow. Everything is fine with the video part. However, I'm facing a problem with the audio part. In the FFDShow mixer settings, if I select anything else than 3/2/1, ffdshow and MPC-HC will crash... Now, my PC is connected to a 2.1 soundbar from the digital output. When I play the video with the 3/2/1 settings, the voices sometime are just too low and overwhelmed by ambient sound and music. Thus I would like to be able to set the mixer to 2.1 to see if it sounds better.

In the output settings, AC3 stream are checked for passthrough since the soundbar is Dolby Digital compatible. In the ouput format, I've checked Encode to AC3 format and 16-bit, 24-bit.

All other settings are the default ones.

Anyone has any idea why ffdshow will crash if I select anything else than 3/2/1 in the mixer ? Is there a way I can select stereo with subwoofer without making it crash ?

Thanks!
