First post - help with subtitles (3 CDs to DVD)
Hello,
I have a video spread over 3 CDs, the 3 .SRT files are in sync in each CD. Now I want to convert the CDs to a single DVD. So I join the 3 AVIs, join the 3 SRTs using Subtitle Workshop, convert to DVD and... the subs are off sync from about middle on. I wasn't able to sync them back using simple edits. If I make a DVD out of the 3 AVIs and 3 SRTs as if they were 3 separated files, all is Ok, but then it doesn't looks 'right'. Any clues will be appreciated. Thanks! |

Hi!
Presumably, the original source material, before you split it into three CD-sized files, is a single file or a DVD - and the same regarding subtitles. It would be far easier to simply backup (if source is DVD) and/or convert (if source is other than DVD) the original source material... |
