VBR plugin for DVDStyler

DVDStyler (www.dvdstyler.org) is a powerful menu creation and DVD authoring software. Back in 2008 the author decided to add ffmpeg for transcoding all files ffmpeg can handle, so it is now a One Click DVD creation software.

While DVDStyler has its main strength in menu creation and authoring, the transcoding using ffmpeg is somewhat limited (only CBR is supported).

So I decided to write a small plugin which expands DVDStyler's transcoding abilities:

Quote:
This small utility allows 1- and 2pass VBR encodes under DVDStyler. In addition to the default 1-pass CBR mode it provides fast 1- and 2- pass VBR modes plus an optional High Quality (HQ) mode. Custom Quant Matrices are supported, a few of my favorite matrices are included. Also fixes a CBR padding issue for VCD frame sizes in ffmpeg versions starting from October 2014.

Since the folks here at Doom9 are not too interested in this plugin, I will no longer post any update notices here. For the latest information and download link please go here:
