I posted some mac links here.
problem with mac ripping is the same problem with Macs...they're not popular, so it's hard to find software for them. Don't get me wrong, I love my mac, but when it comes to hardcore ripping, nothing beats the abundance of apps and websites available for PC's.

personall, on X, i use osex even though it's still in alpha stage, its a very good ripper, and i haven't ripped on 9.x in a while, but i remember using a tool by "coyote" DVDExtractor maybe it was called. There's another one called YADE, which there is a X and classic version i believe. At one point, i tested them all and found the outputs to be exactly the same, so just choose the one that works for you.

sorry, that was pretty vague. I mean making backups of ps2 or x box games. You have to rip them first but after that ???? just curious
