Interlacing problem?
Hi,
When trying to encode a movie using Divx 4.12 the other day, I found that after it was done I had horizontal lines, clear but a distortion and very noticeable, across the picture of the movie. Is this caused by a form of interlacing? My settings were to use Smart Deinterlace, which I've always had good results in using DivX 3.11. Is this merely a symptom of DivX 4.12 or is there a way to fix it? I was using GKnot, that's why it's in this forum. dragoman |

i've been using 4.12 since I started encoding, and it's given me no probs. Are you sure you had the correct frame rate for the film you were encoding, because that can cause interlacing problems if you did.
