External Subtitle Formats specification

Hi!

I am in need of specification of the subtitle formats (SubRip, MicroDVD and TMPlayer).

Is there any way to get the official specification?

Suggest me some ways to get the spec for the above mentioned subtitle formats....

Thanks in advance...

There are not official specs for SubRip...but you can check SubRip sources and have some infos for these formats.

.srt is pretty straightforward. Just open SubRip, rip a sub or open an old one, select .srt as the output format, check the options for coordinates and colors, and save. A look at the result should clear things up.
Oh, and if you're planning some application, may I suggest also adding support for UniCode ?
