dvd decryptor wont rip into one file

Been looknig around all day and havnt had much luck, but heres my problem

dvd decryptor wont rip this episode of trigun into one file (trying to back up my dvd's before i put them in storage) but thats ok i used smartripper instead and it ripped the episode fine into two vob files

i have no clue how to pass a d2v file through.

i dont even really know if i have done this right, because all ive been using so far is dvd decryptor to rip into a single vob and passing it through autogk(great program for nubs lol)

so if anyone can show me the light please do so

You can change the settings in Smartripper so it produces one VOB file instead of 2. I think it's under "Max VOB size" or something similar to that.

that doesnt work, producing one vob of the same content using any program (or 3 of my mates computers) produces a vob with content missing, thats why im being forced to allow multiple vob files to be produced x_x

What about using the "Copy" function from the commandline and copying the 2 VOB's as 1.

Sounds like your hard drive (and perhaps those of your mates) may be formatted as FAT32 and not NTFS.

FAT32 drives have an individual filesize limit of 4Gb (NTFS is exponentially higher)...
