Minutes On a DVD ?!

What is the max "Minute Video" on a dvdr ? 120 min ?

i have seen dvds with 150 in ... possible ?

and got antoher question ... is it possible to have 3 movies that are about 1h 30 min long ...and fit on a dvd ?

and yes ... i know its says like 120 min or something like that ..but i still wanna ask :P

The 120 minutes is a just marketing term. Much like the fact that the packaging states 4.7 GB while a DVD blank is only 4.37 GB.

The only thing that determines how many hours a DVD can hold is the bitrate.

For example, you can fit 15 hours of video on DVD, but it will look really bad.


High bitrate = Less video = Great quality

Low bitrate = More video = Bad quality
