you mean without the need for an external plugin, like PPs plugin ? I dont use winamp ( for various reasons ) so i am not very familiar with it .... a link to a news page or so would have been nice Chibi . I'd also like to know ( for those of you having 5.1 soundcards ) if the channel mapping is the same as Tobias is using ? Anybody to make a short test ? Thanks ...

Sorry, no 5.1 equipment here :-/
But it's nice to have native OGG Vorbis support in winamp finally, this will help the acceptance of this nice format big time! Hm, and the link is: http://www.winamp.com/ , and there following the "New Features" link (can't post a link here as that page is a java servlet generated one with session id in it ) But I can't see winamp 2.80 there? Just 2.79? Regards, Koepi

WEll couldn't found winamp 2.80 also, that link gets me to nowhere. Tryed Winamp 3 beta3 but that didn't mention nothing about ogg, its the same as older versions with Ogg plugin (on Ogg 6ch the voices are placed in FrontRight and RearRight).
