Sorenson AVC Pro against Nero AVC h264.

Sorenson AVC Pro against Nero AVC h264.

The difference of quality video is edifying.
When I think that some players of Divx want to promote this format, I am disappointed.

Try the version 4.0.301.11 of Sorenson Squeeze + the update; and you will see.
This program also permits functions advanced in HD, WMV9 HD, Quicktime HD, RV10 HD and MPEG2 HD (but in one pass to 25400 kbps).

Note: Reassure yourselves I made only a test in Mpeg-4.

To soon.

I bought Sorenson Squeeze 4 when it first came out and it was way slow and the quality was horrible. Have they since updated and made quality improvements?

Have you got the options that I specified upstream.

" This program also permits functions advanced in HD, WMV9 HD, Quicktime HD, RV10 HD and MPEG2 HD (but in one pass to 25400 kbps)".

Because some improvements have brought .

Sirber, I think that you have a problem.
It requires QuickTime 6.5 to see 7.0 to function fully.

I just checked their site and I still have the most current version. I did a side by side test in January with Squeeze 4 and Nero AVC and Nero not only won in speed but quality as well.

Yeah, I come to think that too. Should I terminate my faulty existence?

>>Sorenson AVC Pro
It was slow, low quality...
It seems that nothing changed from that moment.

When I tried the last trial version of Sorenson's AVC codec it was nothing like as good as "any" of Nero's releases...

Cheers

Maybe what he is trying to say is that Quicktime 7 will use Sorenson's AVC codec. If so, then Applejust lost the war as the Sorenson code is complete shit.

Look at acidsex,

* An extract of Shaktale AVI : 1280*688 / 1.17mo / 5sec 20
* Graphic card 9800 pro, Link DVI/HDMI + HDMI cables, Scaler Vigatec + Barco projo

HDTV test
Nero AVC H264: time: 11sec / Size: 5.04mo / 9.80mbps?

Test 1080 HI
Sorenson AVC Pro: time: 8min10 / Size:5.08mo / 8.00mbps

I have restart the test, and I confirm in HD 720i/p or in 1080i/p Sorensons is the best.

If someone have a test that it proves me the opposite, don't hesitate. Thank you

NOTE: I am sorry for the translation, my English is very bad
