Feature Request ; Cut the movie into x pieces

First of all, congratulations for your perfect tool. I have a suggestion to make; is it possible to add a "cut final avi into x (2) equal pieces" option?thanks

so here's my idea... you can cut the things directly in dvd2avi... just let it create the wished number of d2v's and ac3's... dunno if this helps... maybe... good work... good luck...

good idea, but my idea is to make the whole process easier, not more complicated. btw, what criteria should i use when cutting the d2v's ? if one piece is much more difficult to encode than the other, the first will have bad quality and the second one will overuse bits. Is there any GPL tool that just cuts avi's at a specified size?
