Creative 5x Dxr2 and Wndows XP

Has anyone else had problems using this drive with Windows XP ?. Initially I was getting an error message saying that there was a decoder driver problem despite reloading the Creative drivers several times. So I tried using installing the WDM drivers downloaded from the Creative site to see if this helped. When I try to run a DVD I am now receiving a message saying that there is a problem intialising my decoder card.

Help.

i can use it !!!

hi there... i used to have the "complete" encore 5x kit, but since the DVD drive "died" i was left alone with the dxr2 card + pionner dvd 16x. i've installed the drivers for win2k and the card works fine, the only thing Windows says is that the drivers are not certified, or something... but still it's does work
send me an e-mail and i'll send you the files i've got.
