You mean ATI and GMA 500 (Poulsbo), and perhaps S3 Chrome. I wonder when we'll see hardware decoding support for Intel's own GMA architecture on Linux. That would make Clarksdale a lot more interesting to me.

well lucky for me, i have a 4850.
I will go and try to compile this weekend. Currently I only have the RadeonHD drivers installed, but i suppose I will need the proprietary ATI drivers. Do the newest drivers have support? or do i still need the hotfix? |
