Gordian knot for linux?

I like the gnot very mach and i wonder if there is a linux alternative to gnot suite

Avidemux gets closest though it for example doesn't offer all XviD codec options (CQMs).

Thanks. I want to go to linux from windows. From the little I undestand it seems good. Avidemux supports x264 and AAC 5.1? Also vobsub auto load (separate sub files) supported in linux? thanks again

Actually I still use GKnot and VDub under Linux. But Avidemux 2.2 supports x264, yes. No idea about multichannel or vobsub. Browse the Avidemux forum for more info.

Yepp. WINE is your friend. Seriously, an excellent piece of software, it really eases some bumps in the transition to Linux.
