You just have to point to the location of your backup folder.

If you don't have the disc, then I can't help you.

How's the program working for everyone? Any feature requests? Bugs?

I've been quite busy at work and haven't had time to look at this but I should have lots of time over the holidays to work on it.

It seems to be working quite well. I'm using it almost exclusively to test it's functionality across different disks. As far as feature requests go, I can't think of much ATM. It seems to be pretty good all around. Maybe you could list the DAR along with the playlist name and length when the "features" are displayed. No big deal. Maybe you could have the output path default to the root of the source directory. Also it would be nice to have access to the command line that is used in case you need to troubleshoot. I think that's the most important. Also drop downs for the available options would be nice. For example, if you select AC3 as output the drop down would let you choose -448, -640, etc.
It's a great tool. Thanks for making it. I'm glad to see you are still showing interest in it. I was getting worried that it had fallen by the wayside, like the other two eac3to gui's.

Mine is working great for BD and HD DVD. The main thing I would like is a few times I have changed my mind about what to extract and cancel. However, this means it quits the program. I then have to wait for it to load the disc again. Can it just not quit when cancel is pressed?

The ability to load m2ts files would be good too.

I don't think that this will be possible as the tool is intended to be integrated into MeGUI which, if you are familiar with the way MeGUI operates) will not afford this opportunity. MeGUI does remember the last folder you selected from though and this might server your purpose.

Never used MeGUI but what had that got to do with this GUI as it works with EAC3to. Surely it is not hard to stop the program from quiting itself when pressing cancel.

I just tried it with Top Gun HD DVD and cannot extract a DTS ES track as there is no DTS selection in the audio type.

A bonus feature of the newest eac3to version is that it will automatically run a 2nd pass if required (gaps, etc). Check the log to ensure that everything worked ok.

Is that provided by eac3to? The tool only displays what eac3to outputs.

Most of the time (for me anyway) the source directory will be a optical drive.

I like this idea. It would be good to provide this feature to tweak the command line prior to processing.

I have always thought of adding this, but haven't had the time. I would need to keep on top of changes to eac3to as this could lead to issues quickly.

Also, one small bug I forgot to mention. The drop downs aren't too responsive. I usually have to click twice to make one open.

And yes, the DAR is displayed by eac3to. It helps to identify extras and the like. While the length is usually a dead giveaway, if you are dealing with something like TV episodes it would be nice to be able to distinguish between a 23 minute 1080p episode and a 21 minute 480i commentary.

Ok a new version is imminent

As far as showing DAR (and other stream info), you can now hover over a feature and a tool-tip will be displayed showing the primary streams within the feature. How does that sound? I have fixed the dropdown bug as well.

More details to follow... Sorry it's taken so long for an update. I had planned to do a bunch of work over the holidays but .... it was the holidays...

I'm looking to spruce up the graphics in the app. Any budding graphic artists out there want to lend a hand?

I need graphics for the following:
- folder icon
- file (or media) icon
- extract icon
- cancel icon

BTW, I really need to start doing a better job at detailing the different versions. I"ll add a version listing to the first posting (ala eac3to) so it's easy to identify what's been changed.

Thanks everyone for using the app. I built it as a tool for myself, but I'm glad others are finding it useful.

Are there still plans to integrate this with MeGUI?

Yep. there are a couple more features I want to add. Then I am either having to write the code to integrate into MeGui or pass it on to someone else to do it.

I think it should be integrated in the February time frame.
