MPEG2SOURCE and meGUI x64

I downloaded the latest version of meGUI x64 as well as the x64 version of DGDECODE. I'm using MPEG2SOURCE as the video frame server to read a d2v file from DGIndex. It's a very odd situation where the encoding will begin so long I include TComb in the script. If I leave it out, then the encoding process will crash immediately. On the other hand, using LSMASHSOURCE and the m2v file from DGIndex works just fine without any filter restrictions.

What is needed from me to diagnose the cause of this problem?

Start by giving the complete script that crashes, the crash details, tell us the OS and Avisynth versions, and tell us where you got the 64 bit DGDecode. There is no official 64 bit version from DG.

A very long time ago, at leat one, unofficial yes, x64 version was made. I also get my hand on it, but don't remember where i got it. Very big chance it was here on doom9, on a post lost in the limbo of the past...

Oh, thanks ! Didn't know this one.

Edit :
Unfortunately, it's unbuildable. Try to build with VS2017, dozens of errors...

There's a binary here: https://kuroko.fushizen.eu/bin/

I remember trying it out sometime ago and everything works well.

Edit: I see that it is not current with the latest changes on github .

I've been able to build the dll adding the avs header files in the project, but not DGIndex. No big deal, what realy matters in this case is the DLL.

Thanks for the responses. TheDGDecode must have been one of the two “unofficial” ports out there. Now I’m using the MPEG2DecPlus from the x64 staxrip. So far it seems to do what I need.

Don't know anything about this but someone is working on a mod: https://github.com/299792458m/DGIndex_mod

Just though I'd post it here...

SaurusX, you did not respond to the above, possible better outcome [for everybody] if you did.

EDIT: The DGIndex combo is considerably better than the alternative you are using.
DG dont visit here no more, however videoh seems fairly familiar with his work.

It didn't seem relevant to post the details, since I was using an unofficial copy of DGDecode. It's obviously ported wrong, so I don't expect the author to try to fix someone else's botched code. One can only hope that DG one day will make an official 64-bit version.

And, unfortunately, I don't remember exactly what was going wrong. It was very nebulous where the lack of using TComb would cause the encoder to immediately crash after launching. With TComb it would proceed.

But seriously, I haven't had any problems with MPEG2DecPlus. However, I'm not using any of the bells and whistles, either.
