I just found out about this great tool.
Ofcause I already knew about AVCHD, but never got to use it, because it only can hold 1 movie per media. I have a few questions to the multiAVCHD tool: 1) Why is the limit set to “only” 40 titles? 2) Is it possible, or will it be a possibility to add DVD’s I have a very large collection of DVD’s – it would be nice to have an external HDD with movie-only titles :-) |

Just any segment... before you send it - try and see if you get the error... If not - find a segment that will error and send it to me.
@tkamp: only fourty?! I just decided so... it is a free tool so I decide how many titles will be available, right? And in 90% of the cases 40 is more that enough. For DVD -> AVCHD you'll need to do some research. multiAVCHD doesn't deal with other formats. |

I just e-mailed you the first 5 MB of the mentioned file to the e-mail address from your website. This part provokes the error too, I just checked it again! Let me know! Thank you! Gero |

Thanks for your reply.
I wasn't trying to be rude or anything. It's just that it would be nice to have the external hdd filled out with videos, and not going back and forth to the PC for changing avchd. Just a thought - maybe my bad? |

in muxer tab. It works that way. I think the first chapter is the problem (00:00:00 - 00:00:00), but I'll test it later. Last edited by deank; 8th April 2009 at 21:25. |

no, it's not. I just enabled "Add chapters each 5 min" and it gave me the same error! Best, Gero |

Good morning deank,
no, it still doesn't work with build 511, same error! I just tried with both "keep original chapters" and with "add new chapters every 5 mins". Still the same error... By the way, I have copied the latest tsmuxer.exe into the tools folder. Does it really work with the partial file that I sent you?? Best, Gero |

Yes it works now both with chapters and without them.
Please do this: when tsmuxer gives the error message box - do not close it - go to _TEMP and open the .meta file and paste its contents. The problem was that --custom-chapters= was blank. Of course there may be something else that causes the error, but at least the sample works here. Last edited by deank; 9th April 2009 at 08:52. |

- a file named "mada2neuer-mkv__info.txt" - an empty folder named "20090409-095305-6865" When I press "create multiBD", the tsmuxer window opens and closes again immediately - so fast that I cannot read the output... Best, Gero |

So tsmuxer isn't crashing but just doing nothing?
uncheck [x] delete temp files and there should be some more files in temp. If there is no meta file then there is something really wrong and I have no idea. Your sample works here. Here is what I see: Code:

So it seems! At least, I see no sign of a crash - it's just that tsmuxer opens and closes again and I find the red error line ("tsmuxer didn't like...") in the log window!
OK, I was able to retrieve the *.meta file. Here it is: Code:
MUXOPT --no-pcr-on-video-pid --new-audio-pes --blu-ray --vbr --custom-chapters=00:00:00;00:04:15;00:06:46;00:09:25;00:15:51;00:17:34;00:20:26;00:23:57;00:28:03;00:30:58;00:33:52;00:35:19;00:38:15;00:42:59;00:45:35;00:49:22;00:52:17;00:55:17;00:57:59;01:03:28;01:06:33;01:15:17;01:19:48 --split-size=3999MiB --vbv-len=500 , "C:\Users\Gero\Desktop\mada2neuer.mkv", insertSEI, contSPS, track=, lang=eng, level=4.1, fps= Gero |

Please download again the complete Setup_multiAVCHD_2.5.exe
This meta file is not okay at all... there is no filename, nor FPS and audio streams are missing. All this is provided by mediainfo and mkvinfo. Check your tools\ folder in multiAVCHD.... It seems that mkvinfo doesnt work properly. You're not using localized versions of them, right? Are there lines in the log: detected subtitles/audio/video, etc.? |

Did you change something in your windows configuration?
If you're familiar with CMD - go to tools and run mkvinfo.exe path_to_your_file and see what happens. I added another warning message in log so you should see it. Last edited by deank; 9th April 2009 at 09:36. |
